Meet Maddy Bellwoar

Gouache artist and painting teacher

I'm Maddy (Madeleine) Bellwoar, a gouache artist who loves to paint landscapes and capture the beauty of nature through color and light. It is my passion to help artists find joy in their process and create paintings they love.

For the past 10 years I've been sharing online educational content across the internet. From live streams on Twitch, to tutorials on YouTube, to being published in books, I’ve been teaching techniques and helping artists develop their skills for the past decade.

Now, I’m putting everything I’ve learned into a new course all about my favorite medium, gouache.

In my gouache course, “Getting comfortable with gouache”, I’ll guide you through learning this medium from understanding the basics to being able to utilize more advanced techniques you may be feeling too nervous to try.
